The Tippy Valley Soccer Team put their two game winning streak on the line as they traveled to Warsaw to take on the Cougars of Lakeland Christian. Tippy played hard, tough and hung with the talented and experienced Cougars for a good part of the game, but ended up losing 7-0. The game was scoreless for the first 10 minutes, than Valley put a goal in their own net that gave the home team a 1-0 advantage. Two other goals put in by the Cougars were tied directly to unforced errors by the Vikings.
The Cougars took a 5-0 lead into intermission and ended two more goals in the second half to complete the scoring.
Up next for the Vikings is the Winamac Tournament this Saturday. The Vikings will take on host Winamac at 9 AM and will play a second game later in the day against an opponent yet to be determined.
