Valley plated one in the 6th and two more in the seventh to close within one. The Vikings racked up 8 hits in the loss, including a single and double from Sydney Howard. Alexandra Gomez added the other Valley double and Amy Baca, Brayden Baney, Taylor Czichilski added singles. Pitchers Mayde Fear and Macy Kirchenstien also helped themselves with a singe a piece.

Fear took the loss in the circle, allowing 5 runs on 7 hits over 4 1/3 innings. Kirchenstien gave up 2 hits over her 1 2/3 IP.
