The Tippecanoe Valley Vikings lost to the Wabash Apaches despite a great performance last night. The Men’s score was 67-82 with Wabash achieving the victory, and the Ladies’ competition ended in a 76-94 win for the Apaches. Incredible swims by our Men’s relay teams with a first place in the 200yd. Medley Relay (Brandon Hoffman, Mason Stephen, Dakota Prater, & Grayson Sriver), and a time of 2:01. The Vikings also took first in the Men’s 400yd. Freestyle Relay (Dakota Prater, Mitchell Smith, Brandon Hoffman, & Mason Stephen), with a time of 4:12, which was over a minute faster than the competition. Other highlights for the Men’s team was wins in the Men’s 200yd. & 500yd. Freestyle by Captain Dakota Prater. Our talented Ladies’ team also took first in the 200yd. & 500yd. by Sophmore Jerzey Conley who dominated the field with times of 2:37 in the 200yd. and 7:00 time in the 500y,d., both time were 40sec. faster than the 2nd place swimmer. Other noteworthy performances were by Captain Olivia Livengood in the 200yd, IM (2:31), & the 100yd, Butterfly (1:08), both which she won. Both Hannah Lowman & Sabrina Stumm improved their times considerably in the 100yd, Breastroke & 100yd. Backstroke respectively. These Vikings continue to show perseverance, dedication, and strength as a team.
